Spider veins can be treated a number of ways. Our practice employs the Photoderm® Vasculight™ treatment system, which is a combination of a noninvasive intense pulsed light therapy and a separate laser device. This effectively eliminates unsightly blood vessels and spider veins to enable them to fade, slowly disappear, and finally become absorbed by your body. No anesthesia or pain medication is needed and treatments are quick, convenient, safe and effective with little or no discomfort. Our new advanced laser treatments allow us to deliver precise and customized doses of energy to the targeted vein in a series of brief pulses. Normal activities can be resumed immediately after the treatment. In addition to leg veins, veins on the nose and face respond exceptionally well to the Photoderm® light treatments.

While vein injections are the treatment of choice for many individuals, a combined approach using intense pulsed light or laser therapy along with sclerotherapy will provide superior results in many cases.
